Re: MOT requirement??

Hi Basically it’s a tricycle, ie 3 wheel motorcycle so fog light not needed - ever seen a fog light on a motorbike? I doubt the average mot tester would even consider its location unless somewhere outlandish - but if fitted must work only with lights on and have a warning light The gov test for a ne...

Re: Suspension seems hard

Re: 2cv6 pushrods

Hi

The aluminium in the pushrod tube is ver6 soft so should be salvageable with a bit of Care, it isn’t a tight fit into the crankcase, to be certain it’s oil tight use the better quality pushrod tube seals

Whatever you read pushrod tubes are v difficult to replace as metal so soft

Re: Drive shaft gaiters

Hi

I’ve changed over to these having got sick of how quickly the cheaper ones crack and perish

They are as good as they say and easier to fit being more stretchy to fit

Well worth the extra money

Re: Lomax rear brake replacement

Hi Have you centred the brake shoes? This needs to be done carefully and could give the symptoms you have assuming pumping the brakes is taking up the 'slack' in the drums before the shoes bite I made a tool up for this - length of threaded rod welded to an old axle hub nut with an 'arm' between two...
