Gunner stick my hoof in hear... Quite agree that the forum is a much better place for club chat and info than FB which is clunky and at times hard to find previous info. I also agree that the forum is not the most convenient system due to logging in malarkey. I understand that the forum we are using...

I also experienced voltage regulator failure, turned out to be alternator fault. I removed the regulator and changed the alternator to a Lucas 127 with built in regulator. I've had one fitted to my 2CV special for 15 years, never missed a beat, starts first time every time. They were sold by 2CV City. Hi, Have you pumped a lot of grease into the splines, maybe you have a hydraulic lock.

Here is the Lomax 223 rear arm arrangement. One arm is extended to centralize the wheel while the other is cut at the point where the square section becomes round. Both near and offside rear springs are retained and arms connected by a bar as shown. May have been a modification on later kits? Howard...
