Has anybody with a Lamda considered cutting a hatch in the top side of the scuttle, where the inboard section of the bonnet rests? It would make access to the dashboard wiring and foot pedals much easier, but I am concerned with weakening the structural integrity of the glass fibre body. Does anyone...

A French contact who wanted to buy a Lomax has told me he has found it impossible to register one there. With several memebers of the club listed as living in France, I wonder whether anybody has had any previous experience of this? Thanks - Patrick

Thanks for the suggestion. Halfords no longer sell ignition leads. The main problem seems to be finding a right angle connection which will fit the Citroen HT coil output.

My Lomax ignition coil is mounted on the engine between the starter motor and the gear change linkage. For some unknown reason, the handbrake linkage assemby has started to foul the left hand ignition lead, when the handbrake is applied, pulling the lead off the coil terminal. Having now replaced all three wheel brake cylinders, along with the brake fluid, I have bled the brakes several times, and although no further air is coming out of the system, the brakes still require two pumps before they activate. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong/ not doing, please? Patrick

Aiming to fit an in-line fuel filter to my Lomax - is there a 'right' side and a 'wrong' side of the fuel pump to fit it? My instinct tells me to fit it between fuel pump and carb, as opposed to between tank and fuel pump (but don't ask me why!). Thanks, Patrick
