Re: GSA Revcounter and 123 Ignition
Yes I have the later revcounter with 3 terminals, 12v, signal and negative. My problem is that the instructions for modifying the revcounter to operate correctly on a 2 cylinder motor instead of a 4 cylinder motor, as detailed by Ivor Spark, require modifications to a resistor and a capacitor which ...

Re: GSA Revcounter and 123 Ignition
I thought I had all the answers, but alas, having procured a set of GS instruments and found out how to alter the revcounter to work on a 2cylinder engine, it seems that the revcounter I have is a 3 terminal variety but does not have a variable resistor. Has anyone else come across this situation an...

GSA Revcounter and 123 Ignition
Can anyone confirm whether a GSA revcounter, modified for 2 cylinder engine will work with a 123 or other electronic ignition system. I have the revcounter and intend to modify as described elsewhere on this site, but have a niggling concern regarding electronic ignition. I would be grateful for any...

Re: Blackjack avion windscreen or aeroscreen or aeroscuttle
Andrew, I am now the proud owner of the Avion construction equipment, and can supply a new perspex screen for either the standard car or the clamshell version. I have some of the glass for the original vee screen, but unfortunately I can't currently supply the pillars due to manufacturing difficulti...

Re: 2CV Dipstick Tube Removal.
David
Thanks for your comments. Job now done. I applied some localised heat to the crankcase around the dipstick tube, then used a large adjustable spanner where the oil drain connects and managed to rotate the tube the required amount.

2CV Dipstick Tube Removal.
I need to remove the dipstick tube on my M28/1 2cv engine in order to either modify the shape of it, or rotate it slightly to avoid a clash with other bits. Does anyone know if this is possible without dismantling the engine. I am reluctant to use any force at the moment in case the tube breaks or i...
