Ian,
If your are happy with the 21/24 why would you change, the 18/26 was put on market to cope with new pollution rules. It is true that if you run cool on first venturi you will save money, but you might have to struggle to fine tune it

Re: Will 650 visa barrels fit 602 bottom end
Hi, If you have a closer look you will find by yourself that it is not feasible. Actually not easily. Depending on what 602 you have it is probably best to fine tune your engine, check for the cylinder pressure, ensure that the breather "reniflard" works as required, adjust the valve and the ignitio...

Re: Lomax 223 Rear chassis stiffener
Hello Bob,
Thanks again for your kind attention, I do better understand by now how it works. If the plates are not already welded I will have probably to dismantle the rear axle.
Tomorrow I'll dive under my Lomax to check.
Cheers Paul

Re: Lomax 223 Rear chassis stiffener
Bob,
Thanks for the explanation it is in line with what Alan wrote and this is maybe why the car is understeering.
The questions are :
1) Can the ARB be easily retrofitted ?
2) How to get one ?
As I have bought the car already made I do not have all details concerning the construction

Re: Lomax 223 Rear chassis stiffener
Bonjour Alan Thanks for comments, Yes It does connect the single use swinging arm to the opposite side unused one, thus it is better not to removed it, but it is very close to wheel no way I can fit a 135x15 tyre unless I modify the setup. I was told some have done it! I have to go to the drawing ta...

Re: Suspension tie-rod ends
HI, Info from Burton, 2 types: - The regular, The eyes of the tie rods may wear and even break where they are fixed by the knife edge on the swingarm. Replace them with these new ones. These tie rod eyes have a length of 91mm, what is standard for the A-types from June 1972. - And the Extra long tie...

Re: Suspension tie-rod ends
If as said you are talking about tie rod ends for me there is only one lenght 91mm, if you are looking for the tie rod then long (640mm) for the rear and short (600mm) for the front.
