2cv Carburettor problems
Hi I have a Burton 2cv based sports. About three years ago I replaced the engine with a Burton refurb 652cc together with a new (refurb) carburettor. I am now having enormous problems with an inability to idle and fairly rough running at greater revs. The idle circuit screw appears to make no differ...

Re: Burton IVA pass
Sadly no hood - just a tonneau cover.
Got the registration through yesterday and the plates are on - today looks like a good day
Cheers

Burton IVA pass
Just to say, as the heading suggests, I now have a street legal Burton. The IVA test is done and buried along with the problems that led up to it. I can now give a definitive view of the Yeading Test Centre and their examiners, and would confirm that they have been supportive, friendly, approachable...

Re: Burton idling and flickering LEDs
Yes it was a Burton loom - but it all worked before adding the repeaters.
Where was your bad connection and what was its effect?

Steering Wheel bush connection
Having failed the IVA in my Burton, in part because the MotaLita type steering wheel was unacceptable due to the wood surround and the holes in the spokes, I am discovering that there is not a lot of conformity between manufacturers of steering wheels and bushes. My present setup is the steering whe...

Re: Burton 2 speed wiper
Quick question related to my IVA wiper problems..... Apparently Hella do an interval switch which might give me the two speeds, providing the fastest speed is more than 45 cycles per minute
Does anyone know how fast the 2cv wipers go? ie how many cycles per minute.
