Citroen Specials Club - the club for all lightweight cyclecars

I have a Lomax 223 which has been sitting in my garage for 3 years. The engine has been run occasionally during this time but now refuses to start. There is fuel to the carb and power to he plugs and it will fire using easy start if i spray it into the carb, any suggestions as to why it won't fire up.

My 223 was registered as a LOMAX in 1999, but first registered as a 2CV, is 1978. It was built using bits from 2 2CVs engine and gearbox with disk brakes from 1 and the rest from another.
