Does anybody know of a supplier for cycle wing's to suit a lomax 223 instead of the tradional style ones, ive been looking online and cant seem to find any. ive seen that somebody is selling brackets on ebay but not the cycle wings.

In my opinion, you my find that at 6 1/2" (165mm) wide, the fibreglass ones suggested are a little wide. I didn't see in the ad whether it's inside or outside measurement, but either way, if you're running 125 tyres there'll be quite a lot of space around the tyre. As far as fixing brackets go, I'd recommend the Avion solution show in a photo by Geoff Ryall Harvey, posted last year. Two tags are welded to the kingpin swivel so the guard brackets can be attached to these rather than the steering arm bolts. If you can find some original Lomax guard brackets, these can be adjusted quite easily. Otherwise, making suitable brackets shouldn't be too difficult.

They should do them much narrower - like this;

If not give me a shout and I will put you in touch with a hot rodder called Mark Bull who can make you up a pair.

I am having a pair made by a fibre glass specialist primarily to fit to the stainless steel brackets that I bought from Importune in Holland.
They should be ready in about 2 to 3 weeks time. these are to fit 15" x 125 tyres.
