Jacking the rear of a Lomax up enough to clear the wheel.

I attended the local CSC end of month meal at the George and Falcon with my partner (thanks lads & lasses for making us so welcome), and it came into the conversation about rear wheel changing problems & about getting the rear high enough in safely. As a new owner (OK, 5 months) I hadn't considered the issue before.
Well, I remembered I had an airbag style of lifter from a few years ago that I got for lifting up a heavy loaded trailer with a 1 tonne stationary engine aboard. Uses the car exhaust to inflate the tough air bag. To release the pressure you unscrew the orange 'one-way- valve/insert'. Just don't inhale the fumes as it deflates!!!!!
Well, it should work with a light weight Lomax surely? Seems to be really good. No trouble getting it in place. Deflates to a small area to go into the 'boot' area, safe support over a large area and very light weight compared to a standard jack and blocks etc.
Here's a few pictures of the result.
I see there is an alternative still being sold here:- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exhaust-Jack- ... 4add1ebbdf
