A quick Grille-ing....

Post by Highwaylass » Mon May 18, 2015 9:30 pm

The 'interesting' Welsh roads not only shook my exhaust loose but made my front grille fall out. It turns out it was held in my big lumps of plastic padding. Is that the approved method? What do other owners do?

Yes - seen that on many Lomaxes. I'd use some of these;

Sand the area for bonding, clean with acetone and bond using sikaflex or even body filler.

They can be bought on eBay. Four in M6 should do the job.

This stuff is cheaper than Sikaflex and just as good;
