Electronic ignition

Post by Kitcarjohn » Sat Jul 18, 2015 11:17 pm

Hi all.
I'm looking to replace my points etc with electronic ignition. I'm by no means mechanically inclined,so I'm having a professional do it. I'm not after performance boost etc. just a reliable turn of the key and runs, what's the best system to suit.
Thanks in advance

If you're looking easy to fit then it's 123 Ignition. 10 minutes tops on a Citroen Special with no fan and tinware to remove. Not cheap at between £139 and £189;

If you're looking for cheap then it's Boyer Brandsen at £25;

Either is a good way to go and you shouldn't need an auto-electrician to fit either.

There is also the Lumenition set-up, which I quite like.
Thanks
