Lomax: Spare wheel holder.

Currently I've got a spare wheel holder on the side of the car that is 2 "J" stcks bolted to the car with an up-side down "Y" shaped leather strap holding the wheel on.
Image
Not very happy with it, as the top strap has broken and I have had to "bodge" it together.

I've looked at a different type of holder that appears to be a round ended oblong shape which the wheel sits in but there are no straps, so I presume that the wheel is bolted in somehow;
Is this through the body or onto a vertical bracket from the bottom of the mount?
How does the whole thing mount to the body?

Any one got a photos they can show, please?
Also dimensions if possible?

Graham, I have two different sets of rollers and have different drgs for each. You will have to suss your own cutting length and bend start points to suit whatever roller/pipe bender you use.

Thanks Bob. Intention is to use the bends that are already fitted, so that will help.

She's coming on!!

For a measly 66 quid you might as well just buy one from Bob.
