Brake servo

Has anyone fitted a brake servo to their special?
I'm curious to know why they aren't on 2cvs.
Is it because they use LHM instead of DOT4 fluid?
What would need to be changed in a new build if I was to go for an aftermarket servo and master cylinder?
Do rebuilt 2cv calipers come with DOT4 friendly seals?

Just curious....... :?

You really don't need to!

If the brakes are well adjusted then you will have absolutely no problem locking up the wheels at any speed with a decent amount of pressure. If you added an accumulator in the brake system it would frankly be dangerous as you would be locking up all the time and have no control!

I need to look at the adjustment of the brakes on my pembleton as they need a single pump before they really dig in (suspect rear cylinder), but my lomax I had before would lock up absolutely no problem if you were a bit over zealous.

You really do not need a servo!!
If the brakes are properly set up they are more than satisfactory.
Forget it!!

Why would they when the braking system is not designed for standard brake fluid?

Me-thinks you are complicating matters.
