Lomax Ride Hight!
Hi,can anybody let me know what hight to set my Lomax off ground hight? It is stated that a 2cv is front 19.5 cms. rear 28.00 cms! but i can not find mention of the Lomax! I have fitted the extra long tierod ends,so that it can ride lower.thanks Graham.

Re: Lomax Ride Hight!
Hi,
On my 223, I have set the ride height at 180mm. front and back.
This is with full normal load.
This is also with coupled rear suspension.
The ride and handling are good at this setting.
Good luck and enjoy the fleeting sunshine.

Re: Lomax Ride Hight!
My 223 also has linked rear suspension, and if I remember correctly is set at 160mm both ends, empty. It was higher when I bought it but to me looked a bit odd! If you're going to lower it much from the standard height, you are probably aware of the effect on the castor angle (should be 15degs.) and the resulting ( in my opinion, detrimental) effect on the steering. Nearly ripped my thumb off the first time I reversed, and made the steering too heavy for my taste at parking speeds. Needless to say the castor angle has now been corrected.
