Replacement Indicator Stalk
I'm replacing the existing indicator stalk with an illuminated one but can't get the light to work. There are four terminals as opposed to three. Two are for the indicators and the other two appear to be for live feeds. If I connect to one the indicators work fine but no light. If I connect to the other I get the light working but rapid flashing on the front only. I've tried putting a link across both terminals but again the indicators work but the light doesn't. Do I need a separate feed to the bulb terminal?

Re: Replacement Indicator Stalk
Sounds like it a Morris Minor type indicator switch, the 4th terminal on the switch connects to the 3rd terminal (P) on the flasher unit.
On my special I used an indicator switch from Car Builders Solutions that incorporates a hazard warning switch as well as warning lights, with very simple wiring.

Turns out the fourth connection needs earthing, works fine now.
