Citroen Specials Club - the club for all lightweight cyclecars

Has anybody with a Lamda considered cutting a hatch in the top side of the scuttle, where the inboard section of the bonnet rests? It would make access to the dashboard wiring and foot pedals much easier, but I am concerned with weakening the structural integrity of the glass fibre body. Does anyone know if the St.Leonards factory is still operative, as I can't get an answer out of them? Thanks, Patrick
