carburettor

Post by waps » Wed Jul 10, 2013 5:03 pm

My 25/36 Carb is old and worn out, I need a replacement and would consider buying a new one, can anyone give me some advice on the subject, would a recon one be ok, and can you recommend a good reliable source. If you need to phone me, I am on 01489895103.
Thanks, Ian Avery.

http://www.ecas2cvparts.co.uk/carburett ... -1809.html

Reconditioned - only £189 plus core charge up front of £50 plus P&P. Absolute bargain.

I'd make an adapter from some 38mm exhaust tubing and a bit steel plate and fit a cheap SU - but it wouldn't be original then....

Try this one - buy it now on eBay for £19.

If you can weld and sort out the other bits and pieces then the SU is the way to go.

Mind you, that recon Solex is ridiculously cheap. He's absolutely giving it away, I just don't know how he can do it without going bust....
