Mvsa1 form for test

Post by Sinbad » Mon Jul 22, 2024 9:49 am

Hi Guys
Is there anyone who has successfully passed the MVSA test and issued with age related plate got a photocopy of their application for test. There are some confusing segments of the form and wish to avoid being lumbered with a Q plate. - Steve

Did this in 2023. No chance of avoiding a Q plate unless all parts are new and receipted. I had proof that the donor was a 60’s Ami. No go.

That's not true.

To get an age related number plate you need to be able to prove that enough components came from one donor car and you essentially scrapped a complete, built car in the process of building yours.

For this you need the V5C of the donor vehicle in your name, along with the chassis plate as removed and photos of the strip down and build of the new vehicle.

There's some examples of forms on the Pembletons Are Go website.
