Dear All,
As you can see we have a new Forum category.
One of the most daunting prospects facing the builder of a new special is that of getting months, even years of hard work though the IVA or MSVA test.
At the recent AGM one member (sorry I don't know who) told of one young chap who after building his pride and joy has failed the test twice already and is so fed up is about to give it all up.
It struck me that we in the club must have members who have successfully passed the test. So, I am inviting any member who has experience to please share your story.
If you can recount how you prepared your car, what particular aspects of you build received special attention, did you pass or fail and if you failed on what parts of the car. Then what did you do to put things right... With any related photos you may have..
I am hoping that we can build up a catalogue of experience that will help members to be better prepared and less daunted at the prospect of the test.
And of course if any member is approaching the test or is even contemplating a build and has a related question, ask away. There is sure to a member who has the answer.
Very best regards
Howard

PS. In the next few months you will see several changes taking place to our Website. I hope you will like them. Please be patient and please remember that Callum is the one who must find time to do all the hard work. Thanks Callum..
