Lomax 233 Seatbelts

Hi Chaps,
Is any one out there with a Lomax 223 that has gone through and passed the MSVA/IVA say with in the last 12 months ?. I hope to be rebuilding an unregistered car soon and need to know about the seat belt mountings.

I'm taking a friend of mine's lomax for msva next week on my trailer so could let you know how he gets on with his belts.

It is mainly the height from the seat base to collar bone they worry about.. a mere thin piece of foam will lower the base and give a larger measure as necessary...Replace with real seat afterwards...
Triking have a bolt on roller on top that gives more height...even a grab rail -ships chandlers will help
[and the place of the buckle is looked at in case it might damage bits but that should be adjustable...]
There is a distance stated in the manual but I haven't a copy.. someone will have.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing a new Morgan again, and seeing how they do the seat belts, did not think to put the details in my brain the time I saw one, but then I did not know I would be starting a 233 project in 2014 !!

Terry after buying his lomax would visit us most Saturdays to chat drink tea and share his life experiences unfortunately soon after leaving us one Saturday on his buell he was involved in a RTA so now is in a higher place telling his tales ,,, rest in peace terry ... All your mates in kingsteignton.
