Does anyone have a website for suppliers of a thin pancake air filter with the correct oval mounting aperture for the standard Solex 26-35 CSIC Carb, and thin enough to fit in the space between carb and Lomax bonnet?

Re: Pancake air filter
I would think that's why lomax made the oblong attachment to fix onto the top of the carburetor with a thin hollow section to take a pancake filter underneath it at the rear???

Not difficult to make one.... Araldite or JB Weld or pop rivets if you've no welder.

Re: Pancake air filter
I saw, some years ago, an excellent home made version, they had used a 'Ye Old Oak Ham' tin and painted it.
Our own is a pop rivited temporary affair that has been maturing for 25 years!

Re: Pancake air filter
I found one on ebay that did not have a place for the rubber breather pipe ,so drilled it and fitted a brass plumbing fitting with a tale, works nicely!
