Is that the same problem as B.R. sometimes encounter?

Another three-wheeler in a long distance trial; this time a Triking on The Motorcycling Club's (MCC) Lands End Trial 2006. It’s not a Citroen-based vehicle, but it’s in the spirit.

Taken from the MCC Triple magazine, an extract is below.

‘The Triking had a Moto Guzzi V-twin engine on the front ….... on the tarmac it went very fast indeed. Off road it suffered from lack of ground clearance, and Tony ignored this as much as possible. He attacked sections with a verve and enthusiasm regardless, although recovery crews and available pushers viewed his arrival with dread. He was once officially warned for allowing his passenger and navigator to ride astride the Triking’s tail when attempting Blue Hills Mine.’

That is the original Triking..trialled everywhere over and through mud, rocks water...by Tony Divey.
Driven there and driven back to Norfolk... It even carried him to his last resting place a while ago...versatile at least...and what a way to go...as you say..in the spirit.
It is still with Triking sports cars and still running after many thousands of miles all over Europe.
They are amazing-the best 3 wheeler....[in my humble opinion...]

More temptation for any susceptible souls. About to fail a section in the MCC's Edinburgh Trial 2014. We did surprisingly better this time, but a heavier navigator may have given us that little extra traction :) . Entries always welcome from three wheelers; I even have a fellow member looking for a three wheeler to make up their team. I can't do it because I'll be on a bike for the next trial.

I purchased the Mole yesterday and drove it to Derbyshire from Devon with only one minor problem - the lead from one battery terminal was loose in the clamp led to no electrical power. Terminals tightened with allen screws replacing the slotted screws. Spent today generally fettling and cleaning. Waiting to see the reaction Thursday night when we go to 2CVGB Derbyshire Firkin Flyers meeting. Next main job is to replace the 1o litre fuel tank for something larger.
I have started to log my work to add to the huge files passed on by previous owner Barry Wallace. It appears little changed but now sports a protective grill on the front made from.... 2 sections of grill taken from the grill in an oven. Pete member 704J.
