What lubricant for steering column, silicone spray? Are the bushes similar to the gear change ones?

It could be the talcum powder tin time again -as with the gear lever bushes

David, I have never been successful with talcum powder, very hard to get it in the right place! Hope all is well at Malbernat.

It is the large safety pin that I could never get right...all is well here apart from [warm] rain..but that's universal
