Registering a Lomax in France

Hello
Could anyone advise how best to go about registering an ex UK 3 wheel Lomax in France. It has a valid UK reg, MoT and tax and is now permanently in France near Chateaudun. This is for a friend of mine who has just acquired it. Cheers, Wayne
