Drive shaft gaiters

Post by Rossiroadrunner » Fri Jul 21, 2017 11:16 am

Hi there,
Next winters job is to replace the CV joint gaiters (amongst other things). Has anyone any experience of the neoprene gaiters that Ecas are selling? They should be better as they say they are STRONG, VERY SUPPLE.
Thanks.
Ross.

The neoprene gaiters are probably from Burton. Check out this video.

Hi
I bought a pair of the cheaper variety and they lasted 2 months and cracked letting out the grease. I think theyed been on the shelf for too long or were poir quality copies in rubber. Had to do the job all over again buying from Club Mehari Casis .worth the extra cost .
Good luck

Hi

I’ve changed over to these having got sick of how quickly the cheaper ones crack and perish

They are as good as they say and easier to fit being more stretchy to fit

Well worth the extra money

Colin
