Re: Q PLATE info from DVLA
Personally I see no problem with that.
I have never seen a problem with a"Q" plate. To my mind it shows a potentially a vehicle put together by a conciencious builder and correctly registered, including an (albeit in many cases minimal) inspection. Future purchasers know it was correctly registered at the time with no hidden surprises to pop up later.
Conversely an age related plate vehicle may well also have been meticulously assembled, but it could equally be a right collection of parts that sits against a reg doc that was bought off a bloke down the pub.
So anyone who feels stuck with a "Q" should look at it in a different vein. I see no problem with a "Q" and nor should you. OK the 30 yr RFL dispensation may not apply but the annual charge is very reasonable for such a bundle of fun.
