One of my 223 front mudguard support brackets has cracked at the front of the bracket.
Having removed it and examined it the base looks like a welded up jigsaw and one of the welds has failed.
The bracket on the other side is sound and looks like a 'proper' component.
Rather than spend time welding up the failed part I would prefer to replace it with a good part.
Can anyone advice where they originate from, or were they special parts from Lomax provided in the kit? (photos attached)

Re: 223 front mudguard support brackets source
Hello Ron.
Pretty sure that the brackets pictured are Lomax in origin.
I’m sure Bob will be able to confirm.
I’d be surprised if the new supplier of Lomax and bits can’t help.

Correct, that is one of the original front brackets as supplied by Lomax.
Not sure if Graham is yet setup to provide bracketry as well as the grp parts, however the bracket design is now much different to what you have there.
If Graham is not producing them as yet then there was a source in Belgium/Holland making "copies"

Thanks Bob, Graham is checking stock for me.
What do the new design brackets look like?
Do you have contact details for the Belgian company you mentioned?

Re: 223 front mudguard support brackets source
I sourced mine from Tonny Visser (spelling may be wrong)
Welded up from stainless. I can't find his contact details now but I'm sure someone else must have them to hand.theyre made to order with your measurements.
Sorry the pictures aren't the clearest, but should give you a good idea of what they're like.

ETA- I've found Tonnys contact details and will forward then to you on a PM.

That is a nice looking solution to supporting the mudguards in way that may help reduce stress damage
