Standard fitting on a blackjack avion. From david emery. 👍. Gives wider track thus tighter turning circle more clearance in some cases for an exhaust pipe

I like the mudguard mountings Kevin. Did you weld brackets on the uprights or are the king pin swivels from another Citroen 2CV clone?

Hi Alan to save time I just bought them hubs with brackets on/fibre glass wings/brackets complete so they fit perfectly from david emery the blackjack avion parts supplier. The ball joints/Trackrod ends from Howard of course and they are brilliant as well 👍.

Thanks Kevin

I've got some of Howard's TRE's waiting in the wings.

Alan,

The Ami had mounts on the front of the swivels for inertia dampers.

On mine I also had some rear mounts made up and welded on too. I made some wing brackets out of some barstock, angle and plate.

Thanks Niall

I thought that I had read somewhere that one of the clones had such brackets. It is of interest only at the moment as I have some NOS original brackets that mount on the TRE points. Mind you I have also heard that these are prone to faults. Time will tell.
