hi there. whilst i have a 223, this query relates to my standard 2cv. am looking for a mail order tow bar and all i can find is one made by 'watling flange' for a dyane
they are unsure whether it will fit the 2cv. it uses 8 rear bumper bracket holes and the main draw bar heads towards the front of the car and curves over to one side, and seems to bolt either onto an axle tube bolt or a chassis flange.
anyone know any reason why a dyane tow bar would not fit a 2cv?
(i have a pdf of the fitting instructions but can't see a way of posting it here)
thanks

Somewhere in my pile of bits I have a tow bar which came off a 2CV. IIRC it was bolted to the nearside chassis rail and swept to the centre. If you are interested send me a PM and I'll dig it out and photograph it.

hi Duncan, that would be great. I tried to PM you but I am unable to, something to do with not having been a user for long enough. Can you PM me with some way of contacting you?
