I own a Lomax 224 and when I needed the tracking on the front wheels checking/adjusted, the tyre garage attached laser devises to the rear wheels as a datum. We have a new Lomax 223 owner in the Group who's RH front tyre is wearing on the inside. This is obviously a tracking problem but with no rear wheels from which to obtain the laser datum, how is tracking checked?
Is it the case that the new laser checking equipment is no use on a 223 and a garage with the old turntable graduated plates needs to be found? David Field

Re: Tracking checks/adjustment on Lomax 223
David,
that type of wear could also be caused by incorrect camber on the arm, something which could happen if the castor angle has been corrected and the stub was not welded in true.
Too much toe out would wear the inside edges of both front tyres...
